International Conference of Entrepreneurs Kicks off in Turkmenistan
The International Conference of Entrepreneurs has started at the national tourist zone “Avaza” on the Caspian Sea coast. It has brought together businessmen from nearly three dozen countries, including Russia, USA, China, Korea, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Iran, Turkey, India, the UAE, Canada, Spain, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Georgia and other countries.
The main purpose of the business forum is to enhance mutually beneficial partnership, discuss joint projects and exchange experiences on a wide range of issues.
The first plenary session discussed the role of the private sector in developing the industrial sectors of Turkmenistan's economy. During this session, foreign delegates acquainted themselves with the pace and prospects of the socio-economic growth of the country.
As part of the forum, representatives of the ministries and departments as well as members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan held meetings with representatives of foreign companies, during which they looked at the opportunities for implementation of joint economic projects.
