International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding holds VI meeting in Ashgabat
The International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding held its VI meeting in Ashgabat on the eve of Day Turkmen Horse (celebrated on April 24). The meeting was attended by representatives from more than 20 countries, including Russia, USA, Canada, Uruguay, Germany, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, China, Mongolia, Iran and Uzbekistan.
The forum participants reviewed the work of the Association over one year and discussed current issues and plans for the future. In this regard, the participants noted the importance of the annual meetings that contribute to increasing and expanding the geography of international cooperation in the sphere of Akhal-Teke horse breeding.
The International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding was established in August 2010 with the primary goal of preserving the purity of the breed and worldwide popularization of Akhal-Teke horses as the national heritage of the Turkmen people.
